The Mother of Representative Munah Pelham Youngblood says her daughter is fast recuperating from her illness contrary to speculation in the Public that she is dead.
Madam Elizabeth Pelham’s comment is in reaction to rumors in the public about the health status of her daughter.
According to her, the Montserrado District 9 lawmaker will shortly return to the country thus describing those spreading lies about the wellbeing of her daughter as detractors.
Madam Pelham made the remark Tuesday when the office of Madam Youngblood donated several food items to over nineteen mosques in the District.
Speaking when she served as a proxy for the lawmaker, Madam Elizabeth Pelham noted that the donation is part of her daughter’s regular gift to the Muslim community during the month of Ramadan.
“My daughter is out of the country going through her regular medical checkup like any other Liberian who feels that health is wealth.” She asserted.
According to her, those wishing to see her daughter go down the drain will be made shame because God Almighty is on their side.
“I don’t care what they are saying, they are detractors who are envying her for no reason but whether you hate her or not she has her own grace that God has given her.” Madam Pelham intimated.
She also urged the Muslim community in the country especially the Muslims of electoral District 9 to remain hopeful and continue to pray for their lawmaker Madam Munah Youngblood.
