“CDC Will Rule Liberia for 24 years” Party Chairman Mulbah Morlu Declared

Coalition for Democratic Change Chairman Mulbah Morlu has declared that his party will rule Liberia for 24 consecutive years while asserting that Cllr. Charles Brumskine stills run the affairs of the Liberty Party.

The Liberty Party at its first post-election convention in Lofa County early this year elected Senator Nyonblee Karnga- Lawrence as political leader of the Party.

Speaking recently in Monrovia, Chairman Morlu said Cllr. Brumskine might still make a comeback, but he said the CDC is not deterred.

“Cllr. Brumskine is still controlling the Liberty Party from behind the scene and we are aware of that and therefore we are also preparing.”

Morlu in a harsh tone also blasts opposition politicians in the country describing them as a bunch of unserious people whose objective is to see the downfall of the CDC led government.

“We will still in power as long for 24 years even if Ambassador Weah tenure is over, we will find another Weah to replace him; so let those jokers calling themselves opposition continuing the criticism.” Morlu lamented.

However, Chairman Morlu assertion of a 24-year rule leaves pundit to wonder if he’s a prophet.

Meanwhile, a cross-section of CDC partisans is expected to converge at the party headquarters in Congo town to discuss the pro-poor agenda of the CDC led-Government.
Making the disclosure at the party’s headquarters, Mulbah Morlu said supporters of the party will be briefed on the essence of the government’s pro-poor agenda.
Morlu said the event which is the first of its kind will be attended by President George

Weah and an array of Government officials.
He added that the one-day event will also coincide with sporting activities among partisans of the party.
