The National Elections Commission says all is now set for the conduct of the July 31 Senatorial by-election in Montserrado and Bong counties respectively.
Liberians are expected to go the polls this Tuesday in the two counties in order to fill the vacancies left behind by President George Weah and Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor.
Addressing a News conference at the headquarters of the Commission, NEC Chairman Jerome Kokoya said the deployment of electoral materials has been completed for the process.
Chairman Kokoya indicated that over 12 thousand Liberians have been contracted to conduct the July 31 senatorial by-elections.
He further described the electoral campaign as peaceful with no incident of violence reported so far.
The NEC Boss, however, called on Liberians in the two counties to turn out en-mass to vote on Election Day to vote the candidate of their choice.
