Senator Cooper Pumps L$30,000 To Liberia Kickball Federation Margibi Branch

In order to buttress the effort of the Liberia Kickball Federation Margibi Branch in preparing players to represent the County in the 2018/2019 National County Meet and other matches to come, the office of Margibi County Senator Oscar A. Cooper has pumped the amount of thirty thousand Liberian dollars L$30,000 to the Federation.

Presenting the amount to the Federation recently, the Administrator in the Office of Senator Cooper said the gesture is in fulfillment of pledge previously made to the team by his Boss.

Mr. Gabriel Nyumah indicated that previously the Senator pledged hundred thousand Liberian dollars L$100,000 to the Federation after he was informed that the group is working towards selecting players from Margibi to avoid borrowing players from other Counties.

Mr. Nyumah narrated that the amount is initial as the remaining L$70,000 will be presented to the Federation in subsequent time.

Receiving the money on behalf of the Federation, the Advisor and Chairman on the protest and grievance committee of the Liberia Kickball Federation in Margibi County Benedict McCarthy thanked the Senator for the gesture.

He averred that they have over the years been struggling to establish Kickball Federation in Margibi and at the same time yarning for sponsors. Mr. McCarthy said this is the first of its kind to host Kickball tournament in Margibi County.

He explained that Senator Cooper has taken certain responsibilities from their heads which include transporting Referees, keeping the players up to date and the renting of page among others. He then promised to use the money wisely and for the intended purpose.
