University Of Liberia Administration Shuts Down SUP Offices – Cites Constant Protest and Internal Conflict
The University of Liberia Administration has with immediate effect shut down the offices of the Student Unification Party (SUP) due to growing internal conflict.
The University of Liberia has also warned protesting students about situations that could cause havoc on its campus.
The call comes amidst a series of protest staged by the Student Unification Party that led to the cancellation of normal academic activities on campus last week.
Speaking ahead of a planned faculty meeting on Tuesday, the Vice President for UL Relations Norris Tweh confirmed a profiling of the matter by the security of the university.
According to Tweh, the document has been forwarded to the University’s President Ophelia Weeks.
He added that outcomes of the meeting will be given serious consideration for the smooth operation of the institution.
