The team according to a Justice Ministry release issued in Monrovia Monday comprises the Liberia National Police, National Security Agency, and the Financial Intelligence Unit.
The Ministry says initial findings show the containers and bags of money arrived from November 2017 to August 2018.
But the Ministry of Justice release did not state the amount as Media reports put the value of the money 9 Billion Liberian Dollars.
The release further disclosed that information from the ongoing probe, will be measured against the need to preserve the sanctity of the investigation and ensure that professional standards are not compromised.
