The Nasser Youth Initiative has concluded a day-long intensive Safety Awareness training workshop with about Seventy Motorcyclists in Gbarnga and its environ.
The gathering which took place at the Gbarnga Multiple Women Center in the county brought together new and old motorcyclists.
Speaking an exclusive interview with Reporters over the weekend at the end of the workshop the Nasser Youth Initiative founder and CEO, Mohammed Nasser said the workshop was meant to prepare motorcycle riders to understand the various traffic signs and rules in the country.
The Nasser Youth Initiative boss, at the same time, said the one-day training is intended to add advantage for Motorcyclists, adding that young people Liberia needs to be given an attention if the Country is to improve in the various sector in turn of development.
The founder of the Non- governmental organization which based in Gbarnga, Bong County has vowed to continue to identify with Motorcyclist of the central region, especially through training.
Mr. Nasser said the workshop is also germane in helping to beef-up the national government to achieving its activities across the country on road safety for Motorcyclists.
Also speaking after the workshop, some of the beneficiaries of the training extended thanks to the Nasser Youth Initiative families for providing them the opportunity in knowing or understanding signs and rules of the traffic.
Participants’ Alexander Yarkpawolo and Moses Bennie said with the knowledge acquired they are going to implement and share them with their Colleagues. They described the workshop as an eye-opening for them in the county, especially given them refresher jackets and a token.
They at the same time recommended to the entity, to extend the training in the seven political Districts in Bong County, which they said will help a lot of Motorcyclists across the County to understand the do and done of the traffic rule in the country.
