The Chief Executive Director of the Nasser Youth Initiatives (NYI) has reaffirmed his institution commitment in creating opportunities for young people across the Country.
The Nasser Youth Initiatives is a Non-Governmental Organization established to give hope to less fortunate Liberians by creating programs designs to discover their potentials.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Monrovia Times recently in Gbarnga, Bong County the Nasser Youth Initiatives Chief Executive Director, Mohammed Nasser said providing opportunities for desirous Liberians remains a priority to the institution.
According to Director Nasser, Liberians youth need to be given attention, adding that Liberia will be better if young people are empowered to take on the leadership of the Country.
“This is time to give attention to Liberians that wants to expand new knowledge and be an ambassador’s of change in their communities,” he said.
Mohammed Nasser once served as President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and is currently serving as Technical Team Manager of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).
Mr. Nasser further maintained that being a former President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and a Students advocate over the years, Youth empowerments and engagement across remains a major concern to the institution.
The Nasser Youth Initiatives Boss has at the same time debunked speculations in Bong County that the Initiatives is a political institution that seeks to contests any future Elections in the County.
“Our institution is not a political field, we have not come to engage in negative politicking but rather to support one of our kinds in a future election if the need arises” he noted
Meanwhile, the Nasser Youth Initiative Boss wants young people of Bong County to engage leaders of the County constructively in order for the needed development to come to the county.
Further speaking, Mr. Nasser used the medium to call on the Government of Liberia, well-meaning Bongese across the County and the world to aid him in the struggle of recognizing venerable Liberians in the County.
He also used the opportunity to extend open invitations to all Liberians to join the Nasser Youth Initiatives in the County.
