The Head of Communication at the National Port Authority Michon Scott has confirmed the dismissal of the entity’s comptroller general Mr. Franklin Sarkoh.

The dismissal news of Mr. Sarkoh comes in the wake of media reports accusing the new Managing Director Bill Twehweah of reported plan to dismiss the NPA’s comptroller general.

Michon Scott has meanwhile attributed the Comptroller dismissal to administrative reason while rubbishing news of protest at the entity.

He said the NPA’s is working out modality in settling the benefits of the outgoing comptroller General Franklin Sarkoh.

He told a local radio station Monday that those spreading false information about a riot at the National Port Authority should desist adding that such news does not do well for the image of the port.
