Bong County Senator, Henry Willie Yallah, has donated one hundred eighty-five (185) gallons of diesel fuel to street petroleum sellers in Gbarnga, Bong County.
The fuel donation, according to the Senator, is intended to enhance the operations of petroleum sellers who are popularly referred to as “camp boys.”
Making the presentation of the fuel, The Administrative Assistant to Senator Yallah, Lewis Sopolu, said the donation was intended for “Camp boys” who are operating in the Gbarnga Old Iron Gate area and other places.
Mr. Sopolu made reference to the difficult economic situation that Liberians are faced with. He added the gesture is aimed at empowering the street petroleum sellers in their operation.
Mr. Sopolu also extended commendation to leaders of the Camp Boys in Bong County for professionally organizing themselves in order to venture into positive initiatives.
He revealed that the office of Senator Yallah has carried out similar presentations in other parts of the County including Totota, Lower Bong County.
The Administrative Assistant reaffirmed Senator Yallah’s support to inhabitants of the county in terms of peace-building and development.
Receiving the gallons of diesel fuel, the beneficiaries lauded the Senator for identifying with them.
They promised to use the fuel for the purpose intended by improving their businesses.
