NYI CEO Cautions Youth To Engage In Positive Ventures
Mr. Mohammed Nasser, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nasser Youth Initiatives (NYI) has called on young people across the Country to engage in positive undertakings in order to become self-reliance if they are to contribute to the transformations of the Country under the Weah led government.
The Nasser Youth Initiatives is a Non-Governmental Organization established to give hope to less fortunate Liberians by creating programs for them to discover their potentials.
It was founded by a group of young people. It is named in honor of Mr. Mohammed Nasser, former President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) who is now the Technical Team Manager for the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).
Addressing citizens recently in Salala District, Bong County, Mr. Nasser stated that there is a need for young people of the Country to engage in community initiatives for the overall good of the Country.
He indicated that NYI remains committed to providing opportunities for Liberians who want to exceed in life.
According to him, most Liberian youths are vulnerable and as such, they need to be given serious attention to excel educationally.
He added that Liberia will be better if young people are empowered to take on the leadership of the Country.
He, at the same time, said being a former President of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and a Students advocate over the past years, Youth leaders across the Country are expected to benefits from the NYI capacity-development programs across the Country but underscored the need for funding, logistical and other support by stakeholders.
