Euphoria Grab Students As CU President Provide Scholarships For High Schools In Bong

In an effort to improve quality education in Bong County, the President of Cuttington University Dr. Harmon Brown has disclosed that every dux of all of the High Schools in the County will be given scholarships to attend Cuttington University up to BSC level.

The CU President made the pronouncement Tuesday in Gbarnga when he toured several high schools in the County.

According to Dr. Harmon Brown, the tour lasted for two weeks in the county.
He said the tour is intended to strengthen the relationship between the University and High Schools in the county.

Besides been a valedictorian, Dr. Brown has stated that the first five persons from the 12th grade class of every high school that will score the highest mark will also be given scholarship to attend Cuttington.

He stated that this is intended to encourage students to take their lesson serious in the county.

Dr. Brown at the same time said working in collaboration with high school institutions is a sine-qua-non for the enhancement of national unity and development as it affords them greater opportunity to inject practical ideas that drive a positive change toward the overall economy and transformation of the country educational system.

He said the views and ideas of school administrators are germane for the development of Bong County through education and Liberia at large.

The Cuttington big man at the same time presented umbrellas to various the schools’ administrators as a single of appreciation for their high work in preparing their students for the University level, adding more of the students that come from these high schools can do well at the institution.

He further encouraged junior students in the county to take advantage of the entrance of the University in the County.

The Cuttington University President pledged his institution’s commitment to working with various high school administrators for the over improvement of the education system in the county.

For their part, some of the students and administrators lauded the Cuttington University president for the steps taken to strengthen the relationship with high schools in the county.

They at the same time assured Dr. Brown that their schools will do all to ensure better academic excellence in the country.
