20 Medical Practitioners To Render Free Medical Services In Lower Montserrado County

Residents of District # 1 Montserrado County were seeing in a jubilant mood over the weekend following the arrival of 20 medical practitioners and the donation of medical supplies in their district.

The jubilant residents who have long complained of chronic health problems were seen all stress-out after their district Representative, Lawrence Morris presented the well train doctors to them.

Representative Morris who partnered with his legislative colleague, Montserrado County District # 6 Representative Samuel Enders to bring in the medical supplies as well as sponsored the services of the medical practitioners was also seen in joyous mood following the display of his gesture.

As the team enters the Todee’s region on Saturday, November 3, 2015 there were thunderous applauds from the citizens as many nodded their heads in celebration.

Speaking to reporters following the supplies of the medical items to health centers in the district, Representative Morris says the gesture was his own way of giving back to the district after he was elected by his people in 2017.

He said the doctor’s services were hired so that they can help in treating some of the curable diseases that have led to the death of many of his constituents over the years.

The Montserrado County District # 1 Representative intoned that the health of his people remains paramount and as such he will do even more to help in reducing premature death within his district.

Representative Morris thanked his legislative colleague, Rev. Samuel Enders for the partnership, stating that, without his support, his gesture to the district wouldn’t have been successful.

“Today, I’m extremely happy for this progress. A lot of people taught that when people are elected they forget about who voted them; this is no longer the case for me. I will do more for my people as long as there exist the means of doing so,” he stressed.

Medical facilities that are benefiting from the services of the 20 medical practitioners include The Bentol Hospital, Todee Health Center and other local clinics in the district.
