GSM Provider, Orange-Liberia will serve as Premier Sponsor of the 2018/19 National County Sports Meet, tournament organizers have said.
Orange-Liberia announced at a joint news conference with the Youth and Sports Ministry at the weekend that it will sponsor the 2018/19 National County Sports meet which will take place among the 15 political divisions of Liberia.
The GSM Mobile company, however, did not say how much it will pump into the staging of the competition, but the Youth and Sports Ministry and many Liberians have welcomed the gesture from the company.
Orange-Liberia will print match tickets and provide awards, as well as other needed items for the tournament.
The Youth and Sports Ministry and Orange-Liberia- said that they will strive to make this the best County Meet ever.
The National County Sports Meet will kick off December 16, 2018 with former opening program happening in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Sports Ministry says it has received two hundred and fifty thousand united states dollar for the tournament.
Orange-Liberia currently sponsors the Liberia Football Association First and Second Division Leagues as well as sponsors the Senior National Football team, the Lone Star.
Orange is also supporting across Africa.
