“We Need Rehabilitation Center” Zogos Craved President Weah Intervention, Says They Too Are Heroes.

Scores of disadvantage Liberian Youth refer to as Zogos in Liberia has presented a petition to President Weah calling for the establishment of rehabilitation programs for them.

The disadvantaged Youth who Monday stood in front of the Foreign Ministry with placards pointed out that they are prepared to contribute to nation building.

Frank Freeman one of the spokesmen of the ZOGOS mentioned that he has been in the business for over ten years and has benefited nothing stressing that it is time to leave.

He wants his colleagues to desist from using drugs and strive to change in order to be welcomed back into society.

The parade which was organized by two substance abuse activists alarmed that the wave of drug users across the country has become a national emergency.

James Koryor and Reuben Logan stated that there is a need for government to address the plight of drug users through the implementation of concrete programs and policies.

“We don’t have to go and bring in foreigners in our workforce to build our roads when in fact we can use these young people who are on drugs; all we ask the President is to see reasons to establish a rehabilitation center for this guys.”
