Liberian National Police Receives Boost In Road Safety And Traffic Management
The Liberia National Police through its counterpart, Liberia Traffic Management today, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 completed inspection of fleet of traffic vehicles and motorcycles for effective road safety and traffic management.
The inspection of these fleet of Police labeled vehicles and motorcycles were made possible through a Public ,Private Partnership with the Liberia National Police and a private group, Liberia Traffic Management.
During today’s inspection, Liberia’s President, His Excellency, George Manneh Weah thanked the partners for the vehicles and motorcycles. He added that the arrival of these traffic operational equipment will boost public safety and enhance effective traffic management.
President Weah pledged his government’s unflinching support to working with the Liberia Traffic Management in bringing relief and safety to Liberian vehicle, tricycle, and motorcycle operators as well as pedestrians and passengers.
For her part, LNP Deputy Inspector General for Administration, Hon. Sadatu LM Reeves thanked the leadership of the Liberia Traffic Management for bringing into the country such useful instruments which will enhance the effectiveness of the Traffic Division of the Liberia National Police.
The Liberia Traffic Management group brought in the country: 24 motorcyles, 24 motor vehicles, 18 Tow trucks and 8 bicycles as a means of making the country’s traffic management very effective.
