Remain Calm, No intention To Counter Protest – Ruling Party Chairman Morlu Tells Partisans

News

Liberia’s ruling Party (the Coalition for Democratic Change) Chairman Mulbah K. Morlu has called on all partisans to remain calm ahead of a planned June 7, 2019 protest.

Speaking at the Party’s National Headquarters in Congo Town on Saturday, April 20, 2019, Chairman Morlu told a group of supporters that the party has absolutely no intention to organize any counter-protest against those planning a protest title “Save the State” on June 7.

Chairman Morlu said what the Unity Party led Government did not do for them (CDC) when they were in the Opposition they will do it for the Opposition by allowing them to exercise their fundamental rights.
