Margibi Police Arrest 4-Men For Allegedly Stealing Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep

Report reaching The Monrovia Times has revealed that Police in Margibi County on Monday, April 22, 2019, arrested four men for allegedly stealing a blue Toyota Land Cruiser from Montserrado County.

The alleged criminals include Darius Will Gardoo age 17, Alphonso Cooper age 19, Melvin Garwolo age 13 and Richard Kollie age 20 respectively.
The arrest according to Margibi Chief Superintendent of Police, Sylvester Hina was carried out on Monday afternoon following a tip-off from intelligence division.

Commander Hina revealed that his intelligence division informed him and others that the jeep in question was taken to the County by the four men for commercial purpose.

The Land Cruiser Jeep with license plate #A60785 according to Police investigation was stolen on the night of Sunday, April 21, 2019, from Du-Port Road and is owned by a woman identified as Mrs. Annette Keiwu.

“The four men were picked up on Monday afternoon when we receive a tip-off from our intelligence source that the car dealers have arrived in Kakata and were attempting to sell the car to a businessman” the Margibi Police Boss asserted.

He disclosed that the four alleged criminals who are believed to be residents of Paynesville City have been transferred to the Auto theft division of the Liberia National Police in Montserrado County where the crime was committed. Meanwhile, Police in Montserrado has reportedly charged the four men with theft of property and gangsterism.
