The Council Of Patriots, organizer of the much publicize June 7 protest is said to be in total disarray, an impeccable source has told The Monrovia Times.
Our source said the arguments begun when Representative Yekeh Kolubah storm out minutes before a press conference was held for the Council of Patriots to read their petition. According to our source, Representative Kolubah frowned on many of the demands in the petition which he claimed was orchestrated by Benoni Urey and Henry Costa.
Our Source said Representative Kolubah was furious at the lack of transparency and the secrecy surrounding the petition saying he did not campaign from counties to counties just to satisfy the selfish interest of few individuals.
He said Costa and Urey kept the petition secret until it was leaked in the media a few days ago, something he said did not reflect the demands of the Liberian people.
Our source said Representative Kolubah was also angry that the petition was not delivered to the government but instead read on facebook saying:
“who did we present our petition to by reading it on facebook? We had the chance to present it to the government we didn’t, then you come read petition here?” Representative Kolubah was heard saying aloud.
“Things are falling apart as we speak, these guys are arguing among themselves as I speak to you, Our source said in a telephone conversation.
