Montserrado County District#10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah has told the VOA that he is in hiding, days after a writ of arrest was issued on him by Criminal Court A.
Representative Kolubah said he is not currently at his house because of fear for his life.
Representative Kolubah and four others are being charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Kidnapping, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation.
He stated that the writ of arrest issued against him is a witch hunt only intended to silence his criticism against President George Weah.
He noted that his rights and amenities as a lawmaker are being violated by the Liberian Government.
According to him, charges levied against him by the court are similar to what Representative Acarous Gray did and is not being reprimanded by state security.
