Legislature And Judiciary Have Compromised Their Independence – Says Liberty Party Political Leader Nyonblee Senator Karngar-Lawrence

Speaking Tuesday in the Rotunda of the Capitol at the ceremony marking her official welcoming and commencement duty following the death of her husband, Senator Lawrence told the gathering that the impeachment and removal of Justice Kabinah Janneh are classic examples of how the two branches of government damage their independence and integrity.
She thanked the people of Montserrado County and all those who supported the election of Darius Dillon to the Liberian Senate and vowed to continue her critical stance on national issues despite the consequences.
The Grand Bassa County Senator thanked staffers of the Legislature and others who stood by her during the home-going of her late husband, Adolph Lawrence.
