The National Youth League of the Coalition for Democratic Change has called on the international community to place a travel ban on the political leader of The Alternative National Congress (ANC) Alexander Cummings due to his reported plans to undermine the Weah led government.
Addressing a news conference Monday at the party’s Headquarters in Monrovia, the Deputy Secretary of the youth league, Hassan Newland said the current economic hardship in the country is due to Mr. Cummings advocacy against the government.
The CDC Youth League has also pointed accusing fingers at the ANC political leader of being the lead importer of harmful substances which are affecting the youthful population of the country.
The youth league, however, did not produce any substantive evidence to back their claims against Mr. Cummings.
Hassan Newland is at the same time calling on the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) to invite the ANC political leader for his alleged involvement in drugs activities in the country.
