LNP Links Mulbah Morlu And Representative Gray To flogging Of Deputy Police Chief Marvin Sarkor – Says Two Are Not Cooperating With Police Investigation
Police Inspector General Patrick Sudue has linked CDC Chairman Mulbah Morlu and Montserrado District #8 Representative Acarous Gray to the alleged flogging of Deputy Police Inspector General Marvin Sarkor when violence erupted at the CDC headquarters in Monrovia.
Inspector-General Sudue said the Liberia National Police has since contacted Chairman Morlu and Rep Gray to show up for the investigation or aid the investigation with what transpired at the CDC headquarters.
He told the Senate National Security hearing Thursday that Representative Gray has since not shown up for the investigation.
Meanwhile, the Police Inspector-General has announced that it has just embarked on an investigation by dispatching communications in early August this year to persons of interest on the electoral violence action which characterized the District#13 by-election filed by Unity Party Candidate Cornelia Kruah Togba in 2018.
He mentioned that persons of interest have refused to show up or reply to communications written to them.
