Lawmaker Threaten To Expose Corrupt Leaders In Bong
The incumbent Representative of Bong County electoral District#4, Hon. Robert Flomo Womba has vowed to expose corrupt leaders in the County.
Speaking in Gbarnga during the official thanksgiving ceremony program organized by Senator Henrique Tokpa to thank the people of the County for electing him as Senator, the Bong County Lawmaker noted that he has received cogent reports that there is an attempt by some Lawmakers from the County to deny the Bongese their inalienable right of direct development.
The Bong County District #4 lawmaker asserted that gone are the days when political hustlers exploited the goodwill of the people who provided them the enabling environment they enjoy nowadays.
Additionally, the Bong County District #4 Representative has attributed the backwardness of development in the County to the ‘failure’ of the past County’s leadership to adequately seek the interest of the citizens in the County.
“Over the past years Bong County received millions of dollars, but the citizens cannot see the development, for instance, the Bong County Technical College on which millions of dollars have been spent, but yet to be completed, adding under our administration we will expose people. Corruption must stop! Nobody will use the County development money for their campaigning purpose, what they have received in the past years is already enough for them in the 2020 elections.
We are not going back to investigate people who looted the Bong County people money, but this present one where I Robert Flomo Womba is sitting there no one will eat or use our taxpayer money on their personal interest,” Rep. Womba stressed.
Representative Womba who claim to be auditor, but have no auditing record in the Country accused past leaders of the County of doing nothing to positively impact the lives of Bongese, despite the abundance of National resources that have been mined by companies in the County.
The tough-talking Lawmaker alleged that the County has been victimized as a result of leader bankruptcy.
He admonished the citizens to shine their eyes for contestants who have requisite pedigree and experience in statecraft to represent them at the level of the National Legislature, noting not people who have not done anything in the county over past years in term of development.
