Several Students Expected To Get Academic Credentials From Gboveh Today
The Government-run Dolokelen Gboveh High School main campus in Gbarnga, Bong County comes live with the school’s 2019 commencement convocation.
According to P. Kohnhahn Cole, the Principle of the Dolokelen Gboveh High School will today August 30, 2019 graduate five hundred fifty-eight students from the school in the County.
The Dolokelen Gboveh High School Principal said the five hundred and fifty-eight students who are graduating from the school passed the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
He further revealed that the school registered five hundred and eighty-eight students for the WASSCE exam, 558 passed 23 failed and 7 students did not write the test, adding WASSCE have this system if you register for their test and refuse to write the test they group you as failure, so for that 30 students did not pass.
Mr. Cole disclosed that those students who have been conferred or awarded Diplomas by the institution in distinct academic disciplines are students who have been academically examined and have satisfactorily gone through the ranks and files of the School’s academic curricular activities in line with the Ministry of Education academic standards and practices.
He further noted that as part of Dolokelen Gboveh mission to producing more qualified and knowledgeable Liberian students in achieving high school Diplomas the institution remains committed to providing quality educational services and fostering a 21th Global Century education in the County.
“This year’s graduation is associated with major events that have beautified the entire commencement convocation. Teacher Appreciation, Baccalaureate Service for graduating senior, which were held on August 26, 2019 in the County,” Cole revealed.
This year’s graduation exercise is under the watchful eyes of P. Kohnkahn Cole, Principal of the Dolokelen Gboveh High School.
Additionally, Mr. Cole who have serve the school for eight Months said this remarkable occasion is expected to be honored by the chairman and members of the Parent-Teacher Association of the School, Alumina and staff of the School, high profile Government officials of the Republic of Liberia, officials and members of the Bong County Legislative Caucus, families and friends of the graduates.
The 61st graduation exercise celebrates the Class of SUCCESS 2019.
