Jeremiah Johnson Invited To National Team For Upcoming Liberia VS South Africa Match

eremiah Johnson, a 6ft tall forward, is set to join the home-based National Team in Liberia ahead of their match with South Africa. The talented player caught the attention of National Team’s Head Coach, Ansumana Keita, with his exceptional display during the County Meet while playing for Lofa County.

The 25 local players who were invited by Coach Keita are a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers. Some of the notable players include Tommy Songo from LISCR FC, Emmanuel Denneah from Bea Mountain, and Derrick Julu from Watanga FC among the goalkeepers.

Midfielders include Yaya Bility, Kertu Jerbo, and John Jaysay from Bea Mountain, Morris Konneh and Sean Barry from Heaven Eleven, and Farsedu Logan and Sheick Sesay from Watanga FC. Other notable midfielders include Christopher Sergbeh from LISCR FC, Sidiki Kromah from Invincible Eleven, and Arku Morris from Muscat FC.

Among the attackers are Jeremiah Johnson from Invincible Eleven, Christopher Jackson from LISCR FC, and Gibson Freeman from Cece United. The 25 enlisted players will begin training at the Samuel Kayon Doe Stadium on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, as announced by the Liberia Football Association (LFA).
